Terms and Conditions of Use

Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using our TermHub™ Application (the "Service") operated by West Coast Informatics, Inc ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the Service.

1. Use of Service

1.1 You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

1.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login information associated with your account.

1.3 Users of the Service agree they have signed up for a UMLS users account and therefore have agreed to the terms of the UMLS License Agreement and its Affiliate Licenses (a near future version of the Service will require checking of UMLS API Key). NOTE: This may also mean that you have agreed to the licenses of other specific terminologies covered by the UMLS License Agreement, such as SNOMEDCT.

1.4 For users on the STARTER plan, no warranties are offered, the product is for use “as is” and “at your own risk”.

2. Content

2.1 Our Service allows you to access, link to, and use content and information ("Content") provided by third parties. You understand that by using the Service, you may encounter materials that you may deem to be offensive, indecent, or objectionable. You agree to use the Service at your sole risk, and we shall have no liability to you for Content that may be found to be offensive, indecent, or objectionable.

2.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any Content, nor do we endorse any opinions expressed via the Service.

3. Privacy

3.1 Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.terminologyhub.com/privacy-policy.

4. Termination

4.1 We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

5. Changes

5.1 We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect and make a notification available within the Service. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

6. Governing Law

6.1 These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
